According to RealtyTrac, a company that collects foreclosure data, there was a 19% drop in foreclosure rates for the Florida-Middleton area from May to June of this year. Compared to May-June 2010, foreclosure rates have dropped 37%.

In May, there were 1, 471 filings for foreclosure and only 1, 193 last month. Although national foreclosure  rates increased 4% between those two months, it is actually down 29% from this time last year.

Butler County is down 31.5% from June 2010, Clermont County 14%, Warren County 43%, and Boone County down 76% from last year.
