In the month of February, the amount of home sales have slipped in northeast Ohio and in the rest of the country.

The sales of the new and existing homes in the 15 county region have gone down by nearly 14 percent. House sales are down from the year before, by condominium sales have rose.

It was not the whole state of Ohio that saw a decrease in home sales, Ohio saw an increase of 3.7 percent from January to February. This number was still lower than it was in February 2010. Nationally, foreclosed homes or homes heading toward foreclosure, count for 39 percent of sales.
