Forum Health Inc., which was once one of the largest healthcare providers in certain Ohio areas, t has fees up to $26 million that have been approved by the U.S.  Bankruptcy Court that will be used to compensate those involved in the bankruptcy case.

The two-year-old bankruptcy case is now working its way to conclusion. The fees are now a controversial topic, some feel that they are appropriate to the complex matters of the case and other disagree.

It has been seven months since a majority of the company’s assets were purchased by Community Health Systems Inc. of Tennessee. An attorney close to the case stated that the fees within the case are “consistent” with other large cases.
