Lawyers are now required to look at every foreclosure document in Franklin County due to the fraudulent foreclosures that have been occurring across the nation.
Some lawyers that are to be involved in signing all of the documents have asked the Ohio Supreme Court to prohibit judges from requiring them to do this.
This new rule could slow the foreclosure process down in some cases. The New York State court put this rule into play in October in order to certify the accuracy of foreclosures documents.
