The inventory that was listed in the petition includes 331 wedding dresses and 1,503 formal dresses. In Chapter 7 bankruptcy, a bankruptcy trustee sells the non exempt products of the debtors such as property and the profit on the items is used to pay creditors.

The store is owned by a Wheeling resident and has been in operation for 80 years and has sold mainly women’s clothing. In recent years it has focused heavily on prom dresses and has drawn in customers from other cities.
